基層處理：為保證粉刷石膏與基層表面粘結牢固，須用掃帚、鋼絲刷等工具將基層浮灰、雜物清理干凈，并將基層表面凹凸部位修補踢平。保證基層干凈、平整和堅實，以保證抹灰后不出現空鼓、脫落等現象。如果基層疏松或者平滑，需用按標準稀釋的滲透界面劑進行滲透密實界面處理；如基層過于干燥，可適當用水對墻面基層進行濕潤，但不可有明水。
